Pocono Medical Center, a part of the Pocono Health System, is the sole provider of hospital care in the greater Pocono region. Located in East Stroudsburg, the facility offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including cardiac and emergency care. The hospital has the third busiest ER in the state and 250 beds.
The Mountain Healthcare Center in the Pocono Mountains Corporate Center East offers comprehensive medical services in the mountain region of the county. Geisinger Medical Group Mt. Pocono offers weekend and evening hours for convenient, urgent care and is located just behind Wal-Mart off Rt. 940 on Commerce Court, within the Pocono Mountains Business Park.
The clinic offers primary care practices in family medicine, internal (adult) medicine and pediatrics as well as specialty practices such as OB/GYN, cardiology, otolaryngology (ear, nose & throat), neurology, rheumatology, endocrinology and general surgery.
